Applications are made on line to Student Finance England. The deadline date for new students to apply for student finance is 31 May 2012 and for returning students is 29 June 2012.
Sponsorships
Some employers offer sponsorships to students on full-time courses. Usually sponsorship would include a bursary, guaranteed vacation work; and if you’re on a sandwich course spending your work experience placements with the company. You’re not guaranteed a job with the sponsor company, but many use sponsorship as a way of selecting graduate recruits to their company.
Most sponsorships are in vocational subjects such as engineering, construction or business, and there’s strong completion for sponsorships.
The UK Sponsorship Database has information on sponsorship opportunities and you’ll find other information in the library at your school or college.
You can use the library in your Connexions Centre too as it has information for you to read or take away.
