Connexions is the information, advice and support service for all 13-19 year olds, and if you have learning needs, up to the age of 25. We can help with issues such as education, jobs and learning, careers, money, health, relationships, volunteering, housing.
Whatever your background Connexions is there to provide help and to support you. You can see a Personal Adviser in our Connexions centre, or if you are in education at your school or college.
The Connexions Service in Manchester, Rochdale, Salford and Tameside is delivered by Careers Solutions the trading name of Better Choices Limited, under contract to the local authority.

Safeguarding Children and Young People.
Better Choices accepts its responsibilities in relation to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
All our staff will therefore safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people with whom they come into contact.
This will be achieved through:
- Our Safer Recruitment policy for recruiting new staff.
- Supporting staff by providing appropriate initial and refresher training on safeguarding and child protection.
- An operational procedure which clearly indicates how staff should deal with safeguarding issues.
- Ensuring company practices and systems are in place to help promote the welfare of children and young people.
- Effective co-operation on matters of child protection with other agencies which are also working with children and young people. This will include sharing information in appropriate cases.
